The Compagnie Intercommunale Liégeoise des Eaux (commonly called CILE), is a purely inter-communal company which ensures the production and distribution of drinking water through pipes in 24 communes of the province of Liège.
Created on December 27, 1913 to provide a water supply solution to the municipalities on the outskirts of Liège, the CILE is the initiator of the digging of the Néblon-le-Moulin catchments (municipality of Ouffet), which it owns.
