Nedre Romerike Avløpsselskap (NRA) is constructing a biogas plant dimensioned to receive municipal sewage sludge from 350,000 inhabitants. The biogas plant is located 40 km east of Oslo. The ground work for the plant has started and, according to the schedule, the plant will be in operation by the end of 2024.
