Short description
Het gemaal Oudenhoorn bevindt zich te Oudenhoorn en dateert uit 1970. Het gemaal bestaat uit een gemaalgebouw binnendijks, een persleiding door het dijklichaam met uitstroomconstructie buitendijks in het Haringvliet. Het gemaal dient voor de bemaling van de polder Oudenhoorn en heeft een capaciteit van 90 m3/min (afvoernorm 1,5 l/s/ha).
Het gemaal draait nu minimaal, o.a. vanwege de geluids-, trillings- en stank overlast van de oude dieselmotor in de omgeving. De dieselmotor is sterk verouderd, einde levensduur en moet worden vervangen.
In de voorkeursbeslissing zijn 3 varianten uitgewerkt en afgewogen, waarbij variant 3, nieuwbouw van gemaal, dijkkruising én uitstroomwerk als de voorkeursvariant gekozen is
