Short description
GVB heeft op dit moment 156 UPS-installaties in gebruik. In de toekomst zal dit aantal verder oplopen tot ca. 200 stuks in 2021. Met het alsmaar groter wordende aantal in beheer zijnde UPS’n wil GVB af van het “ad hoc” inschakelen van externe partijen voor onderhoud en het storingsherstel. GVB wil dit beter gaan organiseren. Om het gehele uitstaande park aan UPS-installaties nu en in de toekomst in eigen beheer uit te voeren ontbreekt het GVB aan voldoende mensen met de kennis en kunde om alle UPS-installaties nu, maar zeker in de toekomst, op niveau te houden. GVB Infra BV afdeling Railservices heeft besloten deze activiteiten (Inspectie, onderhoud en storingsherstel) dan ook uit te besteden aan een externe partij.
