Short description
De scope van het project betreft het beschikbaar stellen van maximaal tien 100% elektrische personenauto’s. Dit aantal zal gefaseerd ingezet worden tijdens de looptijd van de overeenkomst. Dit zal gebeuren in overleg met de winnende inschrijver op basis van afname en commerciële inzetbaarheid. Dit kunnen ook auto’s op waterstof zijn met een brandstofcel en elektromotor. Mochten er technieken beschikbaar komen die leiden tot vergelijkbare of lagere CO2 emissie in vergelijking met de huidige elektrische auto’s, dan kunnen deze auto’s ook onderdeel (gaan) uitmaken van de overeenkomst.

Op basis van de verwachte uitgaven in de komende jaren moet voor deze opdracht een Europese aanbestedingsprocedure gestart worden. De kosten voor de dienstverlening overschrijden de Europese aanbestedingsdrempel.
Het aantal marktpartijen die binnen deze sector actief zijn is beperkt, daarom is een niet-openbare procedure in dezen niet noodzakelijk. De wijze waarop hieraan invulling gegeven wordt kan uiteraard nog nader bepaald worden.
