Yle operates four television channels and three channel slots as well as six radio channels and services complemented by over 20 regional radio programmes. Yle also has the most extensive and varied online selection of television and radio programmes in the country.
Invitation to Market Dialogues
To renew Yle news and current affairs studios, Yle invites interested suppliers for professional LED video screen solutions to participate in the market dialogue held prior publishing the call for tenders (RFQ).
Yle is looking for experienced partners that can build video walls and offer solutions that are based on Yle’s studio setup plan. Yle will build two studios at this project, the first studio floor will be 300 m2 and the second floor 85 m2. All the Yle News and Current Affairs productions will be produced in these studios. The company must have experience from projects at the same scale and requests.

Yle’s target is to acquire professional LED video screen solutions for Yle's TV studio needs. The screens will be installed in Yle Media House 2nd floor, at the Pasila News studio area (Helsinki, Finland). The studios are used for Yle News and Current Affairs shows on a daily basis for more than million daily viewers seven days of week.
The project will implement the technologies of two NCA studios: the main studio and a medium-sized studio, of which:
-The new main studio for NCA studio productions will be built on the second floor of the Media House. The studio floor will cover approximately 300 m2 of space that has a eight metre high ceiling.
-A new medium-sized studiofloor for NCA studio productions will be built on the second floor of the Media House. The studio will have a surface area of about 85 m2 and a ceiling height of approximately four metres.
At this stage the final studio set up drawings are not yet complete. It is expected that LED screens with pixel pitches from 1.2 mm to 5.9 mm will be installed to the studios depending on the planned usage of the video walls. Also, the shapes of the video walls are still open and waiting for the final studio set design.
