Description of the procurement
The EnBW He Dreiht GmbH plans the development the Offshore Wind Farm (OWF) He Dreiht. The EnBW He Dreiht GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of EnBW AG and received the right to develop the OWF project with a capacity of 900 MW. The OWF will be amongst the first zero subsidy bid OWF in the world. The project is located in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), approx. 120 km north of Eemshaven/Netherlands. The water depth within the area is about 39,5 m LAT. The soil at the planned locations consists mainly of dense to very dense sand. The first infeed is tentatively assumed to be in 10/2025. The EnBW He Dreiht GmbH seeks to contract the scope of 64 Transition Pieces (TP) for monopiles. The scope includes the engineering, procurement, manufacturing of Transition Pieces (TP) and delivery of the TP to the presently foreseen marshalling harbour Eemshaven/Netherlands including unloading, performing final inspection and take-over. The assumed Scope will be Transition Pieces (TP) for monopiles: the procurement of steel, the fabrication of app. 64 TP with an expected maximum bottom diameter of app. 8,6m and an expected maximum length of app. 32m comprise fully finalized to be installed offshore. The Transition Pieces shall be provided acc. German law, official authorities requirements, specific requirements valid for the installation in the North Sea area and the design requirements of EnBW. The detailed scope is subject to change but will likely include the following works (including all associated (required) engineering works, documentation, organization and participation to Factory Acceptance Tests, acceptance and support of surveillance permanent quality inspection team at fabrication site and review, acceptance and surveillance of potential subcontractors, pre-transporting company to the presently foreseen marshalling harbour Eemshaven/Netherlands (Site 2) and commissioning in the offshore wind park (Site 3) : 1. Project and production preparation 2. Procurement of steel, material, electrical components and equipment 3. Manufacturing of TP incl. primary and secondary structure, corrosion protection and electrical outfitting 4. Storage of TP at tenderers manufacturing site 5. Loading of TP at fabrication harbour 6. Transport of TP to Site 2 (if Site 1 [=manufacturing site of tenderer] is not Site 2) 7. Unloading of TP at Site 2 (if Site 1 is not Site 2) 8. Final inspection of TP at Site 2 (if Site 1 is not Site 2) 9. Commissioning of TP offshore at Site 3 - electrical outfitter shall be present 10. Potential rework at Site 2 -(if Site 1 is not Site 2) and/or at Site 3 Preliminary programme assumptions (likely to change): - In Q1/2024 an amount of 40pcs of ordered TP shall be delivered to Site 2 (if Site 1 is not Site 2)
