XPRESS – an EU-funded project under Horizon 2020 R&I programme – gives support to Public Procurements to facilitate the collaboration between SMEs and the public sector for the adoption of RES (Renewable Energy Sources) in regions. Public procurement can be an effective tool for promoting innovation and integration of RES - for municipalities and businesses. However, there are several barriers that need to be overcome.
The stakeholder cafe is aimed at identifying opportunities to make XPRESS project results publicly available for UK Public Authorities and SMEs.
